Wirra: Peramangk for ‘bush/scrub’
‘This small patch of remnant native vegetation is our outdoor classroom. The Kindergarten and school children, their families and the educators work and learn in this Wirra.
The Wirra plants provide food and shelter for a variety of native animals, and is potential habitat for the Southern Brown bandicoot’
Below: Leaves and seeds from Adelaide Hills local natives including hakea (hakea carinata), platylobium obtusangulum, native cherry (exocarpos cupressiformis), and dusty miller (spyridium parvifolium).

Animals of the Great Australian Bight including Southern right whale, yellow-footed rock wallaby, sea lion, stick nest rat, little penguin, osprey, great white shark, and a collection of benthic organisms.
